Ampguard is a roguelike game based in a world inspired by Japanese mythology that lets the players battle ancient demons and frightening monsters. It was produced as part of a university projekt and finished in the span of a year by roughly 60 students.
Working on this project. I mostly designed enemy characters that would fit the world and the art style. A factor that had to be considered was the information provided by the game design department, which regarded the movement and attack patterns of the enemy and helped the animators and VFX-artists fine-tune the end product. I utilized the Unity Shader Graph for designing particle effects and implement them in the project. In cooperation with the marketing team, I drew designs solely for merchandising and their marketing endeavors.
In the process uf working on this game. I was able to use different applications like Blender, Unity, Photoshop, Procreate and the project management tool Trello.
