Over the last few years I have started to participate in GameJams of different kinds, with the primary goal to test out my abilities, deepen my knowledge in working under pressure and, of course, to have fun in game development.
On most of these projects, I was able to dip my toes into different fields of work and gain insights into areas of game development I scarcley think of.
For the most part I was working on designing and subsequently modeling, characters and environments in Blender, painting them in Adobe Substance Painter, as well as designing VFX and Shaders in the VFX and Shader graph respectively. Following this I was introduced to designing UI elements in Photoshop and the Implementation process in Unity. Finally, I was quite often tasked with the lighting of a scene, as well as configuring the Volume and the Post Processing on the camera.
Due to the fast nature of such projects, we were required to push our limits and explore new horizons to broaden our horizon and try to come to terms with new tools or knowledge on short notice.
