Lumien is the result of a year-long university project, uniting 60 individuals in a collaborative effort to craft a 3D platformer in the Unity Game Engine.

As the Art Director for Lumien, my role involved steering the visual aesthetics, ensuring a cohesive and captivating design troughout the project and anticipating and solving problems in the pipelines as well as on technical levels.

Leading this team, I guided the artistic vision, working hand-in-hand with designers and artists to create an immersive experience. On this project I was able to gain an insight into departments such as: Concept Art, Animation, 3D-modeling, Sound, VFX and Shaders as well as lighting and UI.

The complexity of coordinating a project of this scale presents challenges that foster growth and learning. With Lumien, I am gaining invaluable experience in team leadership, communication and the intricacies of visual storytelling within the gaming realm.
